Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluation and interpretation of pathology data from general toxicity and carcinogenicity studies, and correlation of histopathology findings with macroscopic observations, organ weight changes, clinical pathology data, etc.

  • Perform evaluation and interpretation of the data from investigative studies and efficacy studies, animal models of disease.

  • Conduct pathology peer review at New Jersey or Suzhou site.

  • Provide expertise in immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and morphometry analysis.

  • Provide training to junior pathologists at Suzhou site.

  • Provide scientific and technical advice on various new technology for pathology.

  • Provide support to technical training of pathology staff.

  • Meet with clients and study directors or hold/attend TC with them.

  • Provide pathology expertise for regulatory submission and response.

  • In collaboration with management, participate in projects to develop new services or improve technologies.

  • Review and revise draft protocol and SOPs, etc.

  • Keep up to date with current knowledge of pathology, new procedure, technology and methodology.

Qualifications

  • Board certification by ACVP.

  • DVM/VMD degree or equivalent. PhD degree is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin Chinese and English.

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
